And how to prepare a ball for throwing in several ways – that's the key!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe will focus primarily on centering and throwing a cylinder – which is the most important shape, from which everything begins, then a bowl (controlled)… and then the sky's the limit. We will go through methods of throwing a plate and finish with the basics of throwing a bottle – a vase with a narrow neck.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou will learn about the potter's tools: what is worth having, what is essential, and what you can skip or create yourself.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe will discuss techniques for removing vessels from the wheel, why some are better than others.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDespite appearances, there won't be that much talking ;).
